GCMA Annual Membership Rules
1. Eligibility: Membership in the Gospel and Christian Music Association (GCMA) is open to Gospel music fans, Gospel and Christian music artists, musicians, songwriters, and industry professionals, including record labels, publishers, producers, recording studios, talent agencies, radio stations, bloggers, and related entities.
2. Membership Term: All memberships are valid for one calendar year. Memberships must be renewed annually to maintain active status.
3. Application Process: Prospective members must complete and submit a membership application form, along with any required documentation and $20 payment of the annual membership fee. Applications are subject to review and approval by the GCMA Membership Committee.
4. Membership Dues: Annual membership fees are set by the GCMA Board of Directors and must be paid in full upon approval of the membership application. Fees are non-refundable, except in cases where an application is denied.
5. Renewal: Membership renewal notifications will be sent out 60 days prior to the expiration date. Late renewals may incur additional fees.
6. Member Benefits: Members are entitled to all benefits associated with their membership level. Specific benefits may vary based on membership level.
7. Code of Conduct: All members are expected to uphold the values and mission of GCMA. Members must conduct themselves professionally and ethically in all interactions related to the association. Any behavior deemed inappropriate or harmful to the association’s reputation may result in suspension or termination of membership.
8. Participation: Members are encouraged to actively participate in GCMA events, meetings, and initiatives.
9. Termination: Membership may be terminated by the GCMA Board of Directors for non-payment of dues, violation of the Code of Conduct, or any action deemed detrimental to the mission and goals of the association. Members may also voluntarily resign by providing written notice to the GCMA office.
10. Reinstatement: Members who have been terminated for non-payment of dues or who have voluntarily resigned may apply for reinstatement by submitting a new application and payment of any outstanding fees. Reinstatement is subject to approval by the GCMA Membership Committee.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality: GCMA respects the privacy of its members and is committed to protecting their personal and professional information. Member information will not be shared outside the organization without the member’s consent, except as required by law.
12. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from membership will be resolved through mediation, with the GCMA Board of Directors serving as the final authority on all matters.
By joining the Gospel and Christian Music Association, members agree to abide by these rules and to contribute to the success and integrity of the association.
